Lidya Madencilik
Lidya’s third discovery in northern Turkey with multiple targets of copper and gold mineralization.
It is located in the eastern part of the Pontid Belt, where Palaeocene-Eocene aged granitic rocks and quartz porphyritic intrusive rocks cut Jurassic-Cretaceous aged volcanic and sedimentary rocks.
The discovery was made in 2021 and a 25,000 metre multiple drilling programme was completed. Resource-reserve studies and preliminary economic assessment are ongoing.
